Services

Six departments, one address.

Everything below happens at the clinic on Sturrock Road. Where something needs a hospital, we will say so plainly and help you arrange it.

Department 01

General Medicine

The clinic’s core service, led by a consultant physician holding an MD in General Medicine (2017), who also teaches the subject at K.S. Hegde Medical Academy. This is where most people start.

  • Fever, infection and post-viral illness
  • Cough, breathlessness and chest infection
  • Chest pain, palpitations and blood pressure review
  • Gastric and liver complaints
  • Thyroid disorders, anaemia and vitamin deficiency
  • Second opinions on an existing diagnosis

Department 02

Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Women’s health is seen by our own gynaecologist, Dr. Shameem Hafeez, MBBS, MD (OBG), in a separate consultation.

  • Antenatal check-ups and pregnancy care
  • Menstrual problems and irregular cycles
  • PCOS and hormonal assessment
  • Menopausal health
  • Infections and routine gynaecological examination
  • Contraception advice

Please call ahead for this clinic so we can confirm the consulting time.

Departments 03–06

Everything that supports a diagnosis

Diabetes & Hypertension Clinic

A structured review service for the two conditions that need the most consistency. Sugar and blood pressure logs are read together with your HbA1c, kidney function and lipid profile, and medication is adjusted on evidence rather than guesswork.

  • Quarterly HbA1c and blood pressure review
  • Diet and adherence counselling
  • Screening for kidney, eye and nerve complications

Laboratory & Diagnostics

Samples are collected at the clinic and reports come back to the doctor who ordered them — so the result is explained to you in context, not handed over as a sheet of numbers.

  • Complete blood count, sugar, HbA1c, lipids
  • Thyroid, liver and kidney function
  • Urine testing and ECG

Preventive Health Check-ups

An annual screen for adults, built around the risks that actually matter in this region: heart, sugar, kidney, liver and thyroid. You leave with a written summary and a plan, not a folder to decipher alone.

  • Fasting blood panel and ECG
  • Physician review of every result
  • Written report with next steps

Arimala Pharma

The pharmacy shares the premises and the opening hours. Because it stocks around what our own doctors prescribe, most people walk out with the full course in hand rather than a partial supply.

  • Prescriptions filled on the spot
  • Repeat supplies for long-term medication
  • Dose and timing explained before you go

When we will send you elsewhere

We are a clinic, not a hospital. Anything needing admission, surgery, intensive care or an emergency department belongs somewhere with those facilities — and we would rather say so on day one than treat around the edges of it. In those cases we refer you, share your records, and stay available for the follow-up afterwards.

If this is an emergency — chest pain, severe breathlessness, stroke symptoms, heavy bleeding or a serious injury — go directly to a hospital emergency department or call 108.

Not sure which department you need?

Call the clinic and describe the problem. We will tell you who to see and when they consult.
