Arimala Polyclinic & Pharma (“we”, “the clinic”) is a medical clinic at Sturrock Road, Falnir Road, Mangaluru, Karnataka 575001. This page explains what information we hold, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Information we hold
Clinical records. When you are treated at the clinic we record your name, contact details, age, medical history, examination findings, test results, prescriptions and the notes from each consultation. This is a normal and necessary part of providing medical care.
Website enquiries. If you use the contact form on this site, it opens your own email application with the details you entered so that you can send them to us. The form does not store anything on this website, and nothing is transmitted until you press send in your email application.
Phone calls. When you call the clinic we may note your name, number and the reason for your call so we can respond.
Why we hold it
- To diagnose and treat you, and to follow up on that treatment over time.
- To dispense medicines accurately at Arimala Pharma.
- To contact you about appointments, results or follow-up.
- To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to medical practice in India.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. We share clinical information only where care requires it — for example with a laboratory processing your sample, or with a hospital or specialist we refer you to — or where the law requires us to disclose it.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are retained for the periods required of medical practitioners in India, and longer where a condition needs ongoing management. Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for responding to you.
Third-party services on this website
This site embeds a Google Maps frame on the contact page and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Requests to those services are handled under Google’s own privacy terms. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics profiling on this site.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your clinical records, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, and ask what we hold about you. Come to the clinic with identification, or call us and we will arrange it.
Security
Clinical records are kept securely at the clinic and access is limited to the treating clinicians and staff who need it. Please avoid sending detailed medical information by email or through the website form — the consultation room is the right place for it.
