Meeting patients where they are
Most of what brings you to a doctor doesn’t need a hospital. It needs someone experienced who has time to listen, and everything you need in the same building.
Walk in, or call ahead
Come as you are, six days a week. If you would rather fix a time — particularly for the women’s health clinic — one phone call is enough. We keep the waiting room small on purpose.

One visit, start to finish
You see the doctor, your samples are taken here, and your prescription is filled at the pharmacy on the way out. No second trip, no third counter, no chasing reports across town.
Consultant-led
Your consultation is with a consultant physician, not a rotating junior. That continuity is what makes long-term conditions like diabetes and hypertension manageable rather than merely monitored.
Our departments
Fever, infection, breathlessness, chest pain, thyroid and everything in between — assessed by a consultant physician.
Antenatal care, menstrual and menopausal health, infections and routine gynaecological examination.
Structured follow-up for long-term conditions: HbA1c tracking, blood pressure review and medication adjustment.
Blood work, urine testing and ECG collected at the clinic, with reports read and explained by your own doctor.
Annual screening packages for adults — heart, kidney, liver, sugar and lipids — with a written plan at the end.
The in-house pharmacy, stocked around what our doctors actually prescribe, so you leave with your medicines in hand.
How we compare
For everyday illness and long-term conditions, a small consultant-led clinic does a few things a large hospital outpatient department cannot.
| Compared on | Arimala Polyclinic |
A hospital outpatient department |
|---|---|---|
| Who sees you | A consultant physician, every visit | Whichever doctor is rostered that day |
| Waiting | Walk in, no appointment needed | Registration queues and token systems |
| Tests | Samples taken in the same room | A separate department and a separate queue |
| Medicines | Filled at Arimala Pharma on your way out | A trip to an outside chemist |
| Cost | The fee is told to you before you are seen | Registration, file and department charges |
| Follow-up | The same doctor, who remembers your history | Repeating your story to someone new |
| Reaching us | A direct line answered at the clinic | A central call centre |
How a visit works
Arrive
Come to the clinic on Sturrock Road any day except Sunday, between 9 am and 7:30 pm. Give your name at the desk. If you prefer a fixed time, call +91 81478 27575.
Consult
A consultant takes your history, examines you, and explains what they think is going on in plain language. Bring any previous prescriptions or reports you have — they help.
Investigate
If blood work or an ECG is needed, it is done here. We will tell you what each test is for and roughly what it costs before anything is taken.
Treat
Your prescription is filled at Arimala Pharma in the same building. The pharmacist will run through the dose, the timing and what to do if you miss one.
Follow up
Your records stay at the clinic. At review, the doctor who started your treatment is the one who adjusts it — which is how chronic conditions actually get better.
